Sam went to heaven on 12/22/00 after a 13 month battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Sam was a young entrepreneuer who had his own lawn business called Sam's Lawn Maintenance. He had his own business card, equipment and lots of initiative.
A week before he was diagnosed with cancer, he was landscaping our front yard and installing wired lights along the walkway.
November 8th 1999, he complained of pain in the right side of of his abdomen. I thought he had appendicitis. He was diagnosed with a 16 cm tumor in his chest, the size of an elongated football. A CT scan indicated another tumor the size of a softball on his right kidney.
He had stage III non-hodgkin's lymphoma.
